During November Kenny Kent Chevrolet will be turkey bowling to benefit the Tri-State Food Bank.

The dealership will donate five dollars to buy food for the Tri-State Food Bank each time a participant rolls the frozen turkey on a lane set up in front of the Kenny Kent showroom.

Each bowler will receive a coupon for a free game at Willow Bowling Center and those who make a strike will get one hundred dollars off any vehicle at Kenny Kent.

Kenny Kent and Willow Bowling Center are also collecting food for the Tri-State Food Bank at each of their locations through November.

A representative of Holly’s House in Evansville won a $1000 prize for the organization by eating 72 donut holes in two minutes, 51 seconds.

The contest was held at Kempf’s Donut Bank Bakery and Coffee Shop on Lincoln Avenue. It was the third year Donut Bank sponsored the contest to benefit a local charity. A total of 12 charities competed in the event.

Holly’s House is a child and adult advocacy center that provides a safe refuge for victims of intimate crimes and their families to talk with authorities and receive counseling while abusers are pursued for prosecution.
