Donut Bank is a third-generation, family-owned bakery with seven local shops that sell made-from-scratch donuts, cakes, bagels and cookies as well as coffees and specialty drinks.

Challenge

To increase consumer awareness and grow business through improved branding consistency and strategic marketing and advertising. This challenge became more important to Donut Bank when national chain competition entered the market several years ago.

Strategy

Over a number of years AXIOM has worked with Donut Bank to evaluate and re-evaluate marketing goals and strategies. A consistent awareness campaign that pushed product through key placement, in various media, has worked well. The strategy has included design of a new web site, drive-through signage, outdoor boards, in-store menus, point of purchase displays and production of radio, TV and print advertising and advertorials.

Results

Steady sales growth and the addition of three new Donut Bank locations. (AXIOM acknowledges that Donut Bank’s consistent product quality, delicious product line and excellent customer service play an ever-present role in the company’s success and growth.)

AXIOM won the Best of Show ADDY Award for Donut Bank’s outdoor board campaign.
