Profile

Vincennes University (VU) was Indiana’s first college. Today VU offers two- and four-year degrees. Its campus is promoted as being large enough to provide a true college experience but small enough for students to feel at home the very first week.

Challenge

To capture and cultivate the interest of potential students and their parents with the objective of increasing enrollment.

Strategy

AXIOM worked with the admissions department to develop a strategic plan to recruit new students. Over the past years AXIOM has developed high-energy, entertaining VU recruitment themes and looks that were infused into direct mail pieces, posters, print ads, outdoor boards, TV and radio.

Results

The results have been very exciting and satisfying for VU, with a 17 percent enrollment increase from 2008 to 2009.
